Green Tourism

Environmentally Friendly  & Green Tourism

Green tourism is environmentally friendly tourism activities with various focuses and meanings. It is a form of tourism involving visiting fragile, pristine, and relatively undisturbed natural areas, intended as a low-impact and often small scale alternative to standard commercial tourism.  Destination Balcary has all this right on the doorstep.

How to Play Your Part in Responsible Tourism

Sustainable  and green tourism is a way of holidaying to different parts of the world in an eco, green and environmentally friendly way.

Responsible tourism is about considering the wider impact your trip could have on the country you’re visiting, and the world.  Park your car on arrival and put on the walking boots or the biking helmet and explore the beautiful area in an invirnmentally friendly way. Eeat locally, buy locally, turn off lights when you don’t need them, keep the heating low, gather wood on your walks to burn in the log burner. There are lots of ways we can all live better together with nature.

Enjoy the clean fresh air, and appreciate the sentient beings as we class our farm animals. Sit where they want, eat where they want. Just enjoy a simple natural life.
