Well, time has flown by and renovations are complete and we have opened. We have welcomed a few guests now and The Farmhouse seems to be being enjoyed. We have received a lovely review from one of our guests which really meant a lot to us, so here we are sharing it with you.
The Farmhouse is exactly what it says it is – a house in the middle of a working farm surrounded by fields and farm animals however this house is bang up to date with it’s appliances, furnishings and luxuries, everything that you could ever need in a holiday cottage. Although I said surrounded by fields it doesn’t conjuror the right image because the house is overlooking the Solway Firth and the views especially from the conservatory are spectacular, looking along the coast to Southerness Point and over the Firth to the Lake District. If you are looking to get away from it all this cottage should definitely be on your short list Sue has put a lot of thought and effort into converting this property into a wonderful place to stay.
