We are getting there, everyday it is exciting to see our house taking shape as we have hoped. All is progressing well toward our target summer launch date, availability will be announced soon.

Not forgetting the wonderful views too. The Garden & Outside Areas
The garden is looking lovely as the tree blossom, meadows and flowers are all blooming. The wonderful views are all set in place for our guests to enjoy. We are even planning to put a telescope on a tripod in the conservatory with its 180-degree panoramic views. This will allow anyone can see out to sea, watch the boats passing, look across to Scafell Pike and the Lake District across the Solway Firth and of course enjoy the abundant local birdlife, wildlife and farm animals grazing. If you have a keen eye, you may also spot one the local red squirrels.
It is a good sized garden with a patio / BBQ area, it offers plenty of space for children and dogs to run about and play games. To the front there is plenty of parking available for guests. The working farm and countryside wraps the whole garden offering tantalising views beyond.

Destination Balcary – Sunny Garden
Kitchen, Dining & Living Rooms
The kitchen and utility room has been fitted out with new units and work surface. The front living room has been re-plastered and had its new Karndean flooring installed. The multi fuel burning stove burner sits proudly in place, ready for those warm and cosy evenings.
The Farmhouse has two living rooms, the front sitting room with window seats giving great views over the farmland to Balcary Bay. It will have a TV, the log burner, and leather settees. The second sitting room overlooks the garden. This is called the snug, a quiet little sitting room for contemplation, peace & quiet.
The open plan kitchen dining area will have plenty of storage space, a double oven (one gas and one electric), with an induction hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge freezer. The dining table will sit up to 5 guests.
The separate dining room has lovely wooden flooring with a large dining table for those enjoyable family dinners.
The rear entrance hall has a utility room with a separate sink and washing machine. It is an ideal drying room and good for the muddy boots after along walk out with the dog.

The master bedroom and en-suite is coming along nicely now. The wallpaper on, painting done, lots of bits to finish but we are getting there, we just keep getting distracted and looking out the windows at the lovely ever changing views.
